VA Ann Arbor: Urology
Urological Care for Veterans
Our team works to deliver timely, safe and advanced urological care to American veterans.
Clinical Care
The Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, a tertiary care facility, collaborates closely with the Michigan Medicine Department of Urology. Faculty hold dual appointments at both the University of Michigan and the VA. The VA Urology Section provides comprehensive specialty care, including advanced open and minimally invasive/robotic surgeries. Our high-volume outpatient and procedure clinics offer ambulatory urology services to veterans across the region. VA urologists are engaged in innovative research and can refer patients to numerous on-site specialty clinics staffed by University of Michigan faculty.
Education
At the VA we strive to foster a safe and cooperative work environment that promotes our faculty and staff strengths and encourages them to achieve their full professional potential and promote an expansive, challenging and rewarding educational experience for our residents and students through our outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, inpatient wards and didactic sessions.
Research
VA Urology physicians are involved in innovative urological research.
