Strengthening partnerships with communities statewide

Community Outreach & Engagement programming and initiatives are guided by both internal leadership and external expertise, ensuring our work is shaped by a broad range of cancer-focused skills and community perspectives. Our multidisciplinary team brings experience in oncology, health communications, education, research methods, and project coordination, while our Community Advisory Board includes patient advocates, experts in health disparities and oncology, and representatives from organizations serving diverse populations throughout Michigan. Together, we strengthen partnerships between the Cancer Center and communities statewide.
