Introductory Pediatric & Congenital Heart Surgery Fellowship

The U-M Medical School Department of Cardiac Surgery offers a one-year, non-ACGME accredited Introductory Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery Fellowship that provides foundational training in the care of patients with congenital and pediatric heart disease, offering fellows hands-on experience in all aspects of clinical management.

Curriculum

The Introductory Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery Fellowship offers comprehensive training in the operative and perioperative management of patients of all ages with congenital and pediatric-acquired heart disease. Fellows train within the University of Michigan Congenital Heart Center, working in close collaboration with our pediatric cardiology colleagues to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
