Exceptional Training Opportunities

Preparing future leaders in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Comprehensive Training. Nationally Recognized Experts. Unmatched Opportunities.

At the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), we train future leaders in rehabilitation through hands-on clinical and procedural experiences, interdisciplinary teamwork, research and grantsmanship, and training in leadership in academic medicine settings.

You won’t just learn to care, you’ll learn to lead. Our graduates are prepared in their respective fields of study to direct interdisciplinary teams (clinical and research) that address the physical and psychosocial impacts of illness and injury.
