3D organization of the genome and its role in gene regulation

The Epigenomics Core offers Hi-C library preparation using the Arima Genomics kits. This assay provides information on the 3D organization of the genome and its role in gene regulation by identifying regions of the genome that interact together.

We have tested the kits on a range of sample types: cells (fresh/cryopreserved), flash frozen tissues, and FFPE.

We can help investigators interested in the following assays:

  • Hi-C: whole-genome assessment of chromatin organization
  • Capture Hi-C: promoter/oncology panel capture can be performed on the Hi-C library. A custom panel can also be used (to be determined/designed with Arima Genomics).

The core will perform library preparation, including the QC steps that were implemented by the manufacturer. If a sample fails at a QC step, we will communicate with the investigator and discuss the results. As for all our library preparation services, a QC will be performed on the sequencing generated before the transfer of the data to the investigator.
