VA Ann Arbor: Radiology
Radiology Care for Veterans
Delivering timely, safe, and advanced imaging care to veterans while supporting efficient services
The mission of the U-M Medical School Department of Radiology Division of Veterans Affairs (VA) Ann Arbor is to deliver timely, safe and advanced imaging care to American veterans. We aim to provide efficient and comprehensive outpatient services, support a cooperative workplace that maximizes faculty and staff potential, and offer enriching educational experiences for residents and students.
Clinical Care
The VA Radiology Division provides comprehensive imaging subspecialty care, including cardiac CT/MRI, prostate MRI, diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine services and Interventional Radiology services. Our imaging exams interpretation turnaround times are greater than 90% in 24 hours. Our Vsignals data shows that our veterans are very satisfied with the imaging care that they receive at the VA.
The Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, a tertiary care facility, collaborates closely with the Michigan Medicine Department of Radiology. Faculty hold dual appointments at both the University of Michigan and the VA.
Education
At the VA we strive to foster a safe and cooperative work environment that promotes our faculty and staff strengths and encourages them to achieve their full professional potential and promote an expansive, challenging and rewarding educational experience for our residents and students.
Research
VA Radiologists are involved in innovative imaging research.
