The Department of Psychiatry is part of Michigan Medicine, one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. We are always eager to engage with Psychiatrists and Psychologists interested in becoming faculty members in our department.

Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of a psychiatric residency
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Eligible for Michigan medical and pharmacy licenses
- Demonstrated clinical competence
- Competence in clinical and didactic teaching
- For child psychiatry positions: board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical psychology program with an APA- or CPA-accredited internship
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in Psychology
- Candidates must be currently licensed and/or eligible for a Michigan full license to practice clinical psychology
- Board certified or eligible for certification in Clinical Psychology
