The U-M Medical School Department of Internal Medicine Allergy & Clinical Immunology Fellowship Training Program is a true leader in the training of future allergists. Our two-year training program is fully accredited by the ACGME and is one of the most sought after Allergy & Clinical Immunology Fellowship Programs in the country.

Progam Strengths
Strengths of our fellowship training program include:
- Multiple subspecialty clinics not available at other institutions, including a high-risk asthma program, a mast cell disorders clinic, and a combined immunodeficiency clinic. In addition, the University of Michigan’s endowed University of Michigan Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center also serves to enhance patient care, education, and research opportunities for allergists-in-training.
- Unique educational experiences with diverse patient populations at the Corner Health Center and VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, in addition to training opportunities in our five clinics, Allergy Specialty Clinic and Food Allergy Clinic at Domino’s Farms, Allergy at West Ann Arbor Health Center - Parkland Plaza, Allergy Clinic at Northville Health Center, and Brighton Center for Specialty Care.
- A history of creating innovative educational experiences for our fellows including the implementation of a problem-based learning curriculum, creation of a team-based approach to learning, and unique clinical elective rotations.
- Growth in the number of faculty members and research opportunities. Research activity has significantly increased, as well as our faculty member's areas of research.

Salary & Benefits
The University of Michigan offers highly competitive salaries and generous benefits to our fellows and advanced trainees. Trainee salary will be commensurate with that of a House Officer at an equivalent level of training based on the HOA contract.
Current Fellows
Current Allergy & Clinical Immunology Fellows are training to be proficient in the delivery of care to patients with Allergic and Immunologic diseases and be prepared to conduct independent research in the field.
